Our commercial team superstars, Amy Brewis and Alice Timson, attended the very much anticipated 2023 CasinoBeats Summit. The event took place at the InterContinental Hotel in Malta between 23rd and 25th of May, where some of the industry’s most prominent leaders, creators and experts headed to the fifth edition of the event for three days of networking, connecting and having fun.
About CasinoBeats Summit
The renowned summit is all about the best in the industry to showcase their latest games and technologies. The awards ceremony took place on the Thursday, with over 400 attending the lavish event and where 19 category awards were handed out. Amy Brewis says, “It was great to attend CasinoBeats this year. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with a lot of clients both existing and prospective at some of the events hosted by SBC, one of the main ones being the awards ceremony.”
Game Feature of the Year
One of the categories was Game Feature of the Year, which Book of Charms – one of our most successful slot titles – got nominated for. The fan-favourite title is a five-reel slot that combines two different themes with two seperate bonuses for each respective theme character. It offers a huge win potential with multipliers and free spins.
Alice Timson says, “Book of Charms is the product of a shift in content strategy at Realistic Games and so it was fantastic to see it recognised amongst other top tier suppliers’ games for it’s Game Feature of the Year nomination.”
In further exciting news, the SBC Leaders Magazine featured our very own Alice Timson, Head of Account Services, in which she discusses our recent move into the Romanian market. Check out the full article here.
Between a mix of conferences, expos, meetings and the awards ceremony, the event hosted a record-breaking 200 speakers across the three days. Some other events included Women in Gaming Breakfast, Exhibition Networking Drinks Reception and IMGL Breakfast Meetup.
Overall, the summit was a success, finishing off with a bang with the CasinoBeats Closing Party held at Infinity by Hugo’s. Alice says, “We had a great time celebrating with industry friends and looking at our roadmap I’m eager for us to make a return next year!”.
